On Christmas Day itself you can have an early breakfast to keep you going until Father Christmas drops in from his round. Then the main event, a truly sumptuous Christmas Lunch will be served with a range of traditional meats including turkey, chicken and goose and of course all the trimmings, including beautifully-cooked roast vegetables and crispy Yorkshire puddings. Afternoon tea will be served to lead you into the evening festivities, where you can celebrate the occasion long into the night.

Any sore heads on Boxing Day will be swiftly cured by another sumptuous breakfast and a brisk walk along the beach, and you can defrost afterwards with a warmed fine mulled wine.
